Symptoms
Computer unexpectedly reboots under OS/2, this does not occur under DOS/Win3.1, no errors or traps occur.
Hardware
Award VL/I-486V2G Green PC motherboard. This problem could also occur with other boards.
Procedure
First if you have a green board and have the APM (power managment) installed, rem out the lines loading APM.SYS and VAPM.SYS. The APM was really designed for laptops and not personal computers.
Finally disable the external cache on your machine, you will not notice that much of a performance loss as the internal cache is more vital.
